It was my birthday, Andrea(close friend) told me Ben you should get these headphones. It was my birthday and that's all it toke to convince me to get them and that's after a few weeks of staring at a friend (Dave) in the office I was doing work at (well i was admiring his headphones wishing they where mine).

There just (so) cool and they work (so) well. They cut down the surrounding sounds dramatically. For example today as I was walking in Park Slope, Brooklyn(NY) on my way home I encounter a friendly pit-bull he was very chatty about something(he looked kind of mad) but didn't sound that intimidating as Thomas from Radiohead was singing in my ears. So there you go these head phones will make your fears of barking dogs go away*. Yep I have a really good head set and I thought if you had a few spare 100$ bills in your pocket why not join the happy campers that enjoy music - really enjoy music(when I put the regular ear buds in my ears my head tells me 'bla this sucks' literally it does...)
